Ushering In The Gold Standard

Precision’s Newest Launch Hits Stores

As our readers know from the teaser photos we shared last week, Precision is launching its new line of performance sneakers from the Gold Standard Collection! The GS Collection has finally been launched and we at Precision are happy to announce a full line of sneakers that fit your lifestyle, with a first place finish. The Gold Standard Collection includes: Basketball, Cross Training, Running and Toning sneakers for both men and women. The full line of sneakers is available at your local sporting goods store. The GS Collection cannot be missed, but we wanted to share the success of the launch with our readers.

Precision Apparel launched its new line of sneakers Friday night with a star-studded event in New York City. The Gold Standard line was showcased during a gold carpet presentation, an advertisement launch and product display. Precision wanted to invoke the feeling of this new line to its guests and created a gold-theme cocktail party and meet-and-greet at the W Hotel. Our special contest winners were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime experience with our NFL and NBA Ambassadors, complete with full set of Precision gear including the entire Gold Standard Collection. It was great to see all their swag!

As advertised, Joe Schmo and Dave Basketball, our NFL and NBA Ambassadors, were going to be available for fan photos and a special question and answer session. There were definitely some interesting questions – so look for video up on the blog soon!

Unfortunately due to flight scheduling conflicts Dave Basketball was unable to make it back to New York City in time for the event. Obviously Basketball was upset that he was stuck on the West Coast, so he took to his Twitter to let his followers know. He tweeted: “To my NYCers, stuck in LA. Wont make it to the W. Show me your Gold love from around the country. #GoldStandard” – complete with a Twitpic of his special edition GS Running sneakers.

Take Basketball’s advice and upload your photos of your Precision sneakers to our Fan Gallery (link here) and “Show Us Your Gold.” Even though Basketball was stuck in Los Angeles, Joe Schmo led a fantastic fan experience for the contest winners and honored them on stage. Along with Schmo, the Gold Standard launch provided our fans a chance to mingle with their favorite Precision supporters. Celebrity guests included Jake Blank, Jane Doe, Commissioner X, and Bob Tom.

Because Basketball couldn’t make it to New York City, Precision wanted to extend a special opportunity to our fans in the Big Apple. So come to our showroom and test out some new sneakers and meet Basketball in person this Saturday at 10am. The store will be open all day, and will allow fans to take pictures, get autographs, and most importantly get up close and personal with Precision’s GS.

As a company, we truly value our fans and wanted to recreate a exclusive Gold Standard event to celebrate Dave Basketball as our NBA Ambassador. The first 300 people to come to the Precision Showroom (located at 201 45th St.) will also be treated to a special one-time-only 50% discount on anything from our new collection. We hope to see you there and always remember to Strive For Gold!
